What When Where is the result of a very active regional community that struggled with knowing of all the activities and events happening in their little region. The frustration of other social media sites presenting Ads rather than the content from groups followed more often then not resulted in seeing posts for activities days after they happened…..
And this regional community like many others benefits from tourism, so What When Where is also aimed at making it easy for visitors to find out what’s on, while they are in town, reviewing the app from home or by signing up to the newsletter to help plan future return trips.

LOCATION AWARE: as users travel between communities, local What’s and Directories are presented
SEARCH: Easy search capabilities to find suitable interests… and across all communities
NOTIFICATIONS: for What’s that interest you, Favourite, Add to calendar and Alerts if the What changes
NEWSLETTER: signup for weekly or monthly additions to be aware of; and across communities to plan for
ACCOUNTS: no login required - but having one allows more options, like copying What’s and reusing them. Use your Outlook, Gmail, Apple or Facebook account to login.
EMERGENCY ALERTS: get messages out to the community regarding local actions during declared local emergencies
Whats On Widget in your Website:
Use What When Where within your website with our Widget builder to add your own branded calendar. Your Website developer will know how to use this, we make it pretty simple for them. Submit your What to What When Where and your own Website Calendar updates to!
Display Screen View:
Use an internet enabled Android TV, computer connected display, Google Chromecast or Amazon Firestick device to present the local community What When Where to guests and visitors, to show case the communities offerings and keep them busy.
Great for retail, Pubs and Clubs or Air BnB’s to entice visitors to more activities!
Local Directory:
Keep your google business details up to date and these will be listed or use our add listing to add something specific, like a club, amenities, park, art sculpture or sightseeing attraction. All searchable with custom categories to help people find you fast.
Emergency Community Alerts:
In times of classified disaster, we can enable an Emergency function in your community to use the platform to send out notifications of local community efforts to help locals – such as moving stock to designated areas, community update meetings, provisions available, shelter access etc
(not to be thought of as, for example the type and location of fire or flood is – that already happens on emergency apps - but local community actions for people to be aware of or help with)
Broadcast Notifications:
Send out broadcast notifications to a community, use this to advise of changes to a major event, a reminder for something new, call out for volunteers or anything else that may be important in your community. (use sparingly, don't SPAM!)

The App, Website and all Features are FREE for the public to use. Anyone can download and submit content at no charge.
A community does need to be created for your area, and we like to partner with local community groups, your Business Chamber or other group of community members.

Community Setup and Annual Ongoing.
Your local community group funds the creation of your community on What When Where and becomes your admin and submission approvers.
This includes onboarding and training our partner, phone support and marketing materials to assist get the word out that your community is on What When Where.
A community is a town our region defined by postcode. Every community and community area is different, talk to us about your region.

For users of the app, your community members, clubs, schools, businesses can all submit their What or Directory or Gallery for FREE! this takes away any barrier to people submitting items.
But there does need to be a community created for your area. This is where we would partner with a business group, chamber or other active community members to setup your area.

This includes onboarding and training our partner, phone support and marketing materials to assist get the word out that your community is on What When Where.
Once a community is created for your area, our partner in your community (chamber, business group, events group) designates a number of members to become 'Approvers'
When an item is submitted, an alert is sent to your community approvers to review the submission, and here they can approve or deny. If an event or business or denied, a comment can be added as to why and is returned to the submitter to rectification.
Once a submission is approved, its immediately live on What When Where.
Through a process where a number of community approvers are alerted to a new submission. the item is review and reviewed and anything inappropriate can be denied before the general public see it. the approve/deny process can take less than a minute, and there are safeguards in place to prevent inappropriate images being viewed.
